Welcome to our travel blog!
We’re a passionate travel couple from the United States (Boston, Massachusetts) who’s been traveling for the past 5 years. We started traveling in our mid twenties with our first out-of-the-country trip to Iceland, back in 2011. We caught the travel bug and we’ve been plotting for more trips ever since.
Since Iceland, we’ve visited various European countries and several cities in the United States. Traveling is not just about seeing a city, visiting a country, or hanging out at resort, it’s about learning and understanding a different culture, trying a variety of ethic foods, digging up history, learning a new language, and understanding and debunking various cultural misconceptions. The best way to explore a new place is to be with the locals, speak with the locals, and have fun with the locals.
We started Cultural Hop to not just document our journey, but to also share our passion for different cultures, our experiences, past mistakes, rare discoveries, and educate people about our world.
